Life as she knew it ended suddenly one day in May. April Corrigan was called out of typing class and never returned to her school again. She thought her dad just worked for an airline. Turns out he worked undercover for the FBI on a dangerous drug case. The FBI entered the whole family into the Witness Protection Program. April sacrificed her Junior Prom, her boyfriend, and her whole life, to move to Florida under an assumed name. In an attempt to regain her old life, April may have put the whole family at risk. Lois Duncan put in sensory details that made Don't Look Behind You seem so real. It spooked me so that at one time I had to stop and compose myself again. I would recommend this book to anyone.

April felt her life was over because she had to leave her grandmother, friends and especially her boyfriend. Finally at the end she knew what she had to do was for the sake of her and her family's lives. This is a good mystery. I suggest everyone to read it.

April's life was perfect until her father started to receive death threats from testifying against some drug dealers. She finds out her father was an undercover agent for the FBI, and then she felt her life was over leaving her boyfriend, friends, and grandmother. Also, there was a hitman named Vamp out to kill them. Two times she tried to get back to her old life, and both times her attempts put her family's life in danger. Finally, she learned that, only after Vamp is caught will she be able to go back to the life she was living before her life changed. I would recommend this book to everyone!
